Catherine Mead

Most brides refer to me as a storytelling wedding photographer, capturing their day as it unfolds. I document all of the moments that happen throughout the day, from morning to nightfall, predominantly with the use of natural light. I was originally a staff photojournalist for the national press, and my photography has been published in the majority of the U.K.‘s national newspapers and women’s magazines, which is where my style first began. As soon as I’d photographed my first wedding, I fell in love with wedding photography too. It has brought me in touch with some lovely people who I’m now lucky enough to consider friends, and I’ve loved photographing and sharing their wedding with them.
I’ve been honoured to have my wedding photography published in bridal magazines such as Brides magazine, and I was awarded the runner-up You & Your Wedding Magazine’s Bride’s Choice Award. I love to chat about couple’s wedding plans, so am really looking forward to Luella’s Wedding Fair to meet with lots of lovely new couples; make sure to come over and say hello!
