How did you hear about Luella’s when you were engaged?
I live near Wimbledon Village and always use to pop in to see all the gorgeous, different wedding goodies Luella’s has! It was my favourite wedding boutique from even before I got engaged!
What items did you get for your big day from Luella’s Boudoir?
My beautiful ‘Dirty Dancing’ Dress was made by Luella’s for our first dance and it looks just like Baby’s dress, it is stunning! My shoes for the dance, my hair clip, the most beautiful garter and lots of other little bits and bobs for the day and for my bridesmaids. And the Luella’s girls gave me so many good tips for the day.
What did you enjoy about your Luella’s Boudoir experience?
I LOVED it all! Every visit to the shop was an extended visit where the girls have now become friends. Such an enjoyable, warm and friendly experience!
What was your favourite part of your big day?
I have to say I absolutely LOVED every minute of the day and just didn’t want it to end! From our amazing ceremony to spending time and having pics with my hubby, to the great speeches, to spending such a special time with all our family and friends, to our Dirty Dancing first dance (which I was rather nervous about, but it turned out to be so much fun!), to being the last ones to leave our own wedding singing with our friends on the dance floor until the early hours… such a special, special time!
What do you love about being married?
The fact that I get to spend the rest of my life with my gorgeous husband, my best friend, share many more special times with him and grow old together. And that we have been blessed with a little one arriving in a few months!
Any other tips, advice, memories?
Try and have as many personal touches on the day which represent you and your hubby as possible, they make the day so special and everyone really appreciates the thought. Have fun, relax, enjoy and take it all in, it’s such an amazing time and such a significant step in life!
